Lovely trip down the Avon. Full praise for our punter Theo who was extremely knowledgeable. Thanks Theo for a memorable trip. Highly recommended

This is an idyllic and relaxing way to take in a bit of Christchurch as you meander along the Avon river past the Botanic Gardens. We had a lovely experience with both staff members, loved the additional touches of the hot water bottles and blankets to keep warm! If you're visiting Christchurch it's a great way to support some local tourism, learn a bit of history of the city, and just have a very pleasant afternoon! We will be back!

What a wonderful way to spend a day in Christchurch!! We bought a ticket to the three attractions (gondola, punting and tram) and this was by far our favourite. Chris, our guide, was knowledgeable, funny, charming and very clearly loved his job! It was a chilly morning (especially according to us Queenslanders) but we wouldn't have noticed on the water as they gave us a hot water bottle and a warm blanket for the ride. I couldn't imagine how they could improve on such a great experience. Don't miss it!

I associate punting with the Wind in the Willows, it's something very English. You can have a young person propel you down the Avon for a small fee, it's a very pleasant way to spend a morning. It's one thing you shouldn't miss if you are visiting Christchurch.
