Although this time I did not use the Tram, as the prices are far to high for pensioners or families? however the barber in the arcade is really a great place for a hair cut and the prices are reasonably priced comparing with North Island prices.

Worth the trip up, great 360 views of Christchurch and the harbour. Plenty of walking tracks at the top (and if you don’t want to take the gondola, you can walk up in 40minutes) there’s a little educational ride at the top.

We took the grandkids on the tram and loved it so much we went back and exchanged our tickets for an annual pass that also includes the gondola. We live in town, so we can hop on, hop off any time. Just love it!

Great view of Christchurch and Lyttleton. A bit expensive but worth it. Cafe have great selection of food and with surprisingly reasonable pricing like any cafe in the city.
